Aventura real estate
In 1967 this city now known as Aventura was purchased 785 acre tract of submurged and undeveloped swamp and marsch land facing the Intracoastal Waterway by Donald Soffer the principal of Turnberry and founder of Turnberry Realty. As the story goes with little more then a skecth on a cocktail napkin Turnberry began creating Aventura.
Over the next 40 years, the Soffer's began to transform that land into the world-famous Turnberry Isle Resort & Club, Aventura Mall, thousands of luxury condominiums, homes, and office buildings. Today, the city of Aventura is one of Florida's most prestigious addresses and closet to the ocean with a very distinct look and feel within the community. Within the previous 60 to 90 days we have experienced a lot of buyers in the Aventura real estate market through Sunny Isles Beach condominiums south to Miami Beach areas. Dating back to six months of real estate sales in condominium with over 3600 properties that have either gone into pending sales or closed sales status within 6 months and those numbers taking us to 90 days back is currently 2,443. If we look at the condo market inclusively one step closer at 60 days you will clearly see the number increase significantly to 2082. There are many indicators and signs of change but no more apparent than the old school of more buyers purchasing properties in the higher end Aventura area’s and ocean front condominiums.
