Over the past few months, we have gone through quite a transformation. Although many of the improvements and upgrades have been completed, we would like to share with you some of the things to come.
Spa Cabanas
We are nearly complete with the cabanas situated around the Avanyu Spa's pool. These luxury cabanas, complete with plasma televisions and palm-leaf ceiling fans, will be available for private use in the weeks to come. Please take advantage of this new adult-only area for an outdoor spa treatment or a little private time. Contact the spa for cabana reservations.
Waterfall & Lagoon
Our new waterfall lagoon feature is located directly behind the Avanyu Spa. Enjoy your own private deck to listen to the soothing sounds of the waterfall and the rustling of the wind through the palm fronds. This project will be completed in the next few weeks.
Landscaping
If you've had the opportunity to walk the grounds, you've seen our one million-dollar landscaping project nearing completion, but we're not done yet! Thank you for your patience and we apologize for any inconvenience during this process.
Future projects:
· New free-form, Caribbean-style pool bar
· New facility for Camp Cheeca, our environmentally-minded kids camp
· Three new treatment rooms at the Avanyu Spa, New state-of-the-art fitness center - open 24 hours a day
For Cheeca Club members, we will be constructing a new posh clubhouse with butler service and extensive patio seating. In the main lodge, members will enjoy a new private club dining room and lounge. Members will also enjoy a 20% discount on virtually everything in the resort. Call Ext. 4540 for more information on the Cheeca Club.
Condominium Hotel Rooms
The new Cheeca
sparkles with an elegance never before offered in
the Florida Keys. You can actually own a piece of
the resort, as many of the new units are available
for sale. This is not a condo time-share. Each unit
is owned outright by the purchaser, but will
continue to be maintained, managed and marketed as a
seamless part of the resort. Owners share in the
room revenue produced.
