In the 1920's, William and Rosamond Vanderbilt created a splendid winter estate on a tropical island in South Florida. This retreat was named Fisher Island, in honor of Miami Beach pioneer developer Carl Fisher.
Completely restored to its former grandeur, Fisher Island boasts one of the world's most luxurious private clubs with the finest in residential and recreational amenities.
Equity and Social Membership in The Fisher Island Club is by invitation only. In the spirit of a fine club, members are encouraged to nominate their friends and associates for membership. Invitations are also extended from the Club's Board of Directors.
Fisher Island Club members enjoy the following amenities:
- The Links, a par 35 championship nine-hole golf course designed by celebrated course architect P.B. Dye, has adjacent double-ended driving range and a 10,000 square-foot Clubhouse offering complete locker room services, a pro shop and Golf Grill restaurant.
- The Tennis Center features 18 lighted Har-Tru clay, grass and hard courts, a center court where tournaments are staged, plus a well-stocked pro shop.
- The 22,000 square-foot Spa Internazionale combines the best of European and American health and beauty treatments, world-class fitness and training facilities, an indoor swimming pool, salon services and a luxury suite that may be reserved for private treatments.
- The Marina offers two surge-proof, deep-water marinas with 131 slips capable of accommodating vessels of virtually any size.
- The Inn at The Fisher Island Club features private villas and guest suites in the architectural style and grandeur of the original Vanderbilt Mansion.
Fisher Island Club members dine on gourmet and casual cuisine, prepared by a team of elite chefs, in the varied ambiance of the island's indoor and outdoor restaurants and lounges.
Vanderbilt Mansion
The Fisher Island historic private gathering Room can accommodate up to 150 guests for formal receptions with superb menus and service tailored to expectations. Elegant European architecture style of the early 1900 with high ceiling, crystal chandeliers and hand painted wooden walls.
City View Café
Overlooking the spectacular city lights of Miami and the infinity of the Atlantic Ocean, City View Café offers unrivaled seating with tempting contemporary continental dishes reflecting the seasons and fine signature wine selection to please the most discriminating connoisseurs.

This intimate room inside the historic Vanderbilt Mansion is surrounded by wooden walls a fireplace and passed time history overlooking the marina,offering fashionable culinary delights and service in a perfect seating for diners and small gatherings.
Café Porto Cervo
A Mediterranean style architecture inspired from Costa Smeralda, Sardenia,Café Porto Cervo provides a unique dining experience with exquisite Italian and Mediterranean delights from fresh pastas, antipasto to Italian specialties and homemade breads complemented with selected wines vintages in a casual elegant setting inside and outside on the Terrace.
Garwood Lounge
Clubbish and unwind in a demure atmosphere, the Lounge offers signature premium brands and selected wine vintages to diners while listening to the featured pianist.
Beach Club and Sunset Bar
A South Floridian Oasis nestled amongst palm trees, exotic flowers and birds on a mile long private white sand beach, the Beach Club offers casual exotic fares indoor and outside on the blue sky Terrace and the Beach with a breathtaking setting on the Ocean and relaxing Island atmosphere. The Sunset bar, a relaxing and unique place on the beach and the marina overlooking the Miami skyline offers premium brands, vintage by the glass and a wide variety of Seafood at the raw bar.
Golf Grill
Between Swings, residents and guests enjoy refreshing fares and beverages in a casual setting inside or outside on the Terrace with a view of the action on The Links, named one of the best nine -hole golf courses in the country.
La Trattoria
Overlooking one of the exquisite Marinas, the intimate Italian café atmosphere is the perfect casual place on the Island to have a quick Italian homemade pizza or pasta specialty among other flavorful specialties.
